Two Superior Employees Nominated for EMSNext

Apr 19, 2024

Congratulations to Marco Patino and Michelle Whennen, members of the 2024 class of EMSNext!

EMSNext is a recognition and development program of the American Ambulance Association (AAA). The goal of the program is to recognize up-and-coming leaders within EMS and support them in their endeavors. Marco and Michelle will participate in a yearlong leadership development and mentorship program that will equip them to continue to advance the profession in the future. They will also attend and be recognized at the 2024 AAA Annual Conference and Tradeshow, April 22-24 in Nashville.

Marco and Michelle were both nominated by their coworkers for going above and beyond in their respective positions. Marco, the Education Manager for Superior of Illinois, is honored to be a member of EMSNext.

“I’m excited to attend the conference,” he said. “This is a good step in my EMS career and I look forward to learning new skills that I can pass on to future EMS providers.”

Michelle, a Processing Manager, is thankful for the recognition.

“I am extremely honored and grateful for this opportunity,” she said. “This serves as a reminder of my hard work and Superior’s belief in me. Thank you to my coworkers for recognizing my efforts and nominating me!”

Congratulations Marco and Michelle! Superior is grateful for your outstanding service to the EMS field.
