BURLINGTON, WI — Superior Air-Ground Ambulance Service of Wisconsin, Inc. celebrated the grand opening of its Burlington Station on Monday, giving the region’s EMS system a major boost. This new station represents a significant investment in southeastern Wisconsin’s emergency medical services, delivering faster response times, expanded resources, and stronger support for families across the region.

“This station is more than just a new building, it’s a commitment to the people we serve in this region,” said Kim Godden, Vice President of Superior Ambulance. “We are proud to continue to grow our presence in Wisconsin and to partner with local leaders in strengthening emergency medical services.”

The building itself carries a special local connection, as it was once owned by the family of Wisconsin State Assembly Speaker Robin Vos. During the event, Speaker Vos underscored the strong connection this project has to members of the Burlington community.

“As someone with deep roots in Burlington, it is especially meaningful to see this building brought back to life in a way that provides an essential service in our community,” said Vos. “Superior Ambulance’s investment in this new station reflects a strong commitment to ensuring that families here and across southeastern Wisconsin have access to quality ambulance care. I am proud to welcome Superior Ambulance to Burlington and to celebrate this important day in our community.

State Senator Steve Nass (R-11) also attended the celebration, emphasizing the positive impact Superior Ambulance’s investment will bring to the region.

“Strong communities are built when businesses and local leaders work together, and this new Burlington station is a perfect example of that partnership in action,” Nass said. “Superior Ambulance’s decision to grow here represents not just an investment in emergency care, but in the people and future of our region.”

In addition to serving as the home base for Superior’s local EMTs and paramedics, the facility also features a dedicated community room, offering a welcoming space for local events and opportunities to bring neighbors together.

The Burlington Station is the latest example of Superior Ambulance’s expanding footprint in Wisconsin and its dedication to supporting first responders. By investing in facilities like this one, Superior Ambulance continues to demonstrate its role as a trusted partner in communities across the Midwest.
